The Hollows Beacon

We live on a dark country road and every 10 years or so I design a new outdoor lantern to serve as a beacon in front of our house.

Evocative at night and suspended by monofilament it's located at the end of our driveway between two large oaks.

(Bonus- It serves to illuminate the street for runners and dog walkers and also to prevent cars from running into our oak trees)

The glowing, hand painted full moon is back painted onto the deep convex dome. Stag head is cast in resin.
Marine grade mahogany plywood back plate shown here in a deep gray outdoor finish.

Available in any desired color/finish.
